Thank You God

Will's book on Thanksgiving puts it nice and simple--we celebrate Thanksgiving in order to say Thank You God. Our family has so much to be thankful for this year. We were so grateful for the opportunity to spend such a meaningful holiday with family. We headed up to Oklahoma Tuesday night so that we could get the kids' pictures taken on Wednesday morning. Cate was all about smiling for the camera while Will, of course, wanted nothing to do with it. We haven't seen the proofs yet, but my guess is that we'll have to settle on pictures of each kiddo by him or herself and probably won't come out with a useable picture of Will and Cate together...to be expected.

On Thanksgiving morning Will watched the parade. When he saw the Kung Fu Panda balloon he ran to get his stuffed panda, Piston, so that he could see his friend.

Later that day we drove down to Tulsa and spent the day with Billy's family at his Uncle Sam and Aunt Trish's house. Sometime on Thursday Will decided that his Great Gramma Kitty was going to be called Kitty Momma. It was adorable!

On Friday Will kept us laughing as he danced around the living room, chased geese on the golf course, and jammed out with Uncle Bobby.

While he played the piano his little legs swung back and forth so fast--it was hilarious!

Check out Will's dance moves. You'll notice that at one point he spots his reflection in the window and gets a kick out of it.

Cate worked on crawling and alternated napping on her Gramma and her Aunt Sarah

On Saturday we took the long way home and swung through Oklahoma City so that Cate could finally meet her great grandparents.
