6 Months

Tomorrow our little girl turns 6 months old. She has brought so much joy to our lives, and she definitely has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!

Cate at 6 months:

- Wearing size 6-9 month clothes and size 3 in diapers

- Eating every 3-4 hours during the day (usually 7 ounces)

- Solids 3 times per day--has eaten rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and green beans (started bananas today because I figured they would be good on her stomach since she's still having tummy issues)

- No teeth yet, but it feels like there's a bump on her bottom gum, and she is chewing on everything

- Can sit on her own (but she still falls over quite a bit)

- Gets up on all fours and rocks like crazy--she has even started to move one knee or one hand forward at a time before stopping (I am definitely not ready for two moving children!)

- Most days takes a shorter morning nap and a longer afternoon nap (occasionally takes a short cat nap in the evening depending on how the other two naps went that day)

- Loves to rub fabric while falling asleep (blanket, lovey, my shirt, whatever she can grab)

- Very ticklish

- Starting to get upset at times if I take (or more likely Will takes) a toy away from her
