Today we had our 24 week appointment for Baby Lepak. It was pretty standard--weight, blood pressure, urine, heartbeat, any questions, okay see you in three weeks. Yes, that's right, we go back in three weeks! No more four week spans between appointments from here on out. Everything looks good--right now I'm measuring at 25 weeks. Next week I get to drink that yucky orange drink and have my blood drawn to test for gestational diabetes. Other than that we're taking it day by day and working on getting Will's new room ready (his new crib is out of the box, but not yet put together...guess that's a project for this weekend).
My biggest worry at this point is Will's adjustment. Being so young, there isn't any way for me to prepare him at all for what is going to happen sooner rather than later...guess we'll just have to give lots of extra hugs and kisses. If anyone has any ideas for helping a 19 month old get prepared or adjust after a baby's arrival, please let me know!
