To hold you over, here's a picture of Will eating his yogurt after he finished his dinner on Sunday night. He usually does much better than this with his spoon, but that night he was much more interested in playing with his yogurt than eating it.
On Sunday we met Uncle Ben at Barnes & Noble. We wanted to get a Big Brother book and a Potty book. We've been trying to talk to Will lately about his new baby brother or sister, but he doesn't seem interested, so we thought a book might help since he loves to flip through his books. That wasn't too hard to find, but looking through the potty books was quite hilarious. I wouldn't get three pages in and Billy would veto every one of them. We did find one that didn't go into too much detail--we're not trying to potty train Will, just starting to introduce the idea, so we didn't really need one showing kids having accidents, showing boy and girl parts, etc. Any book that had ducks or other animals in diapers Billy vetoed before I even opened it--somehow he didn't find animals wearing diapers very natural (Ed. note: This is Billy. We are reading this book to introduce him to the concept so that he will find it normal when it is time to learn. What is normal about an animal with a diaper on it, learning how to go potty, and having accidents? About as normal as France leading an overseas Allied military campaign. So not very normal. Billy out.). We're trying to ease into this thing...lots of funny posts to come for sure once we actually try to start doing it.
Last weekend we headed to Frisco for my cousin's little girl's first birthday party. While we were there, Will accidentally bumped into little Madi, causing her to fall down and start crying. When Will realized what had happened, he looked around the room and in slow motion his bottom lip started to fall and next thing we knew he was starting to cry. It was priceless. Although I hated to see him upset, it felt good to know that our little man is no bully and actually seems to display a lot of empathy considering his age.
We have been keeping quite busy lately working on flower beds, getting everything ready for the baby, and finally picking out bedroom furniture for our room. We had been using an array of furniture that we each had from undergrad/law school. None of it matched, most of it was handed down to us at some point, and I was actually using one of those cheap sets of plastic drawers for a nightstand, so we were definitely due to make the investment. We still need to buy a pair of lamps and pick out new bedding since we went from a queen to a king (a necessity since my huge body pillow never left our bed after my pregnancy with Will), but those things will happen eventually. A t.v. also came with our room package so we will happily be replacing the small t.v. that I got for Project Graduation back in 2000--yes, that t.v. has been from El Campo to numerous apartments in Austin to Dallas to NYC and then back to Dallas again and will now go somewhere to be stored since it's a good size to put in a future playroom someday. Here are a couple pictures of our new furniture.

That is awesome that you still have your project graduation TV. I swear those tube TVs know how to last though!
