Four Months Old

It's official--our little girl is four months old. Cate's personality seems to come out more and more with every passing day. It's hard for me to remember our life without her. Here's a little bit about Cate at four months:

- Sits supported (Bumbo chair, propped up on couch/bed)

- Started rolling from front to back recently, but not consistent yet

- Still exclusively breastfed, but we are starting a very slow weaning process soon

- Most days eats at around 7:45 or 8 pm, then again at around 3 or 4 am, and then sleeps until around 8 or 8:30

- Currently wearing size 1 diapers, but the next box will be size 2 (hoping to end the daily diaper blowouts)

- Explores toys, her fingers, her burp cloth, Laney, and whatever else she can get her hands on

- Likes to stand while you hold her hands

- Tends to laugh whenever Will laughs

- Sucks on her fingers less these days and has taken more of a liking to the pacifier

- Officially has the same hair I had as a baby (i.e., stands straight up!)

We'll know Cate's length and weight on the 29th at her 4 month appointment. Until then, here is Cate's four month picture taken this morning before church.
