Two Months Old

Today is Cate's two month birthday. At her checkup today she weighed in at 11 pounds 5 ounces (51st percentile) and measured 23 inches long (75th percentile). Her head circumference is 15 inches (50th percentile). Here is what she is up to...

- somehow inches up whenever she is sleeping until her head touches the top of her bassinet

- doesn't care for tummy time too much and pushes herself forward with her feet a lot while she's on her tummy

- "talks" a ton (coos, squeals, etc.)

- loves to suck on her fingers/hands (trying to quell that with a pacifier)

- smiles a ton

- seems to watch Will whenever he is in the room

- has the biggest pouty bottom lip I have ever seen whenever she is unhappy

- spits up a lot (evidenced by the fact that Will now likes to "help" by grapping a burp cloth and wiping Cate's entire face, whether it needs to be wiped or not) but is a happy spitter

- nurses every 3 hours or so during the day and has one stretch during the night ranging from 4-6 hours

- absolutely loves her baths each night

    Happy 2 months!! That's funny that she inches up while sleeping - Charlie inches down so that she is kicking her crib by morning time!
