Out and About

Over the weekend we took a little outing to an outdoor shopping center near our house. We didn't stay out too long, but we did manage to pick up swimsuits for the kiddos and buy Will a long-promised pair of sunglasses. (Side note: Carters has sunglasses for $5 that have flexible ear pieces and hinges so they're pretty much unbreakable.)

Last Friday brought with it a couple appointments for Will. First was his follow-up appointment with the dentist. The good news is that his front teeth do not look any worse, but at this point they also don't look any better. We'll go back in early October for his 2 year check-up and look at the roots again to see what is going on with them at that point.

Next came a quick trip to the pediatrician to check out a bug bite of some sort on Will's face that he reacted badly to. After a day and a half it was still pretty red and swollen with a big knot underneath it, so we figured better safe than sorry. It is not infected, so the prognosis was just a little Benadryl and keep an eye on it.
