One Month Old

Yesterday our little girl turned one month old. I'm amazed at how fast the past month has flown by and how much Cate has changed. Here is a little about Cate at one month old:

- Almost grown out of most newborn clothes

- Loves snoozing on her tummy on someone's chest

- Nicknamed Koala Cate by her daddy because she loves to curl up in the fetal position and cuddle

- Loves taking a bath (so long as she doesn't get too cold) and even fell asleep during one

- Just started rolling onto her left and right sides

- Has no real eating pattern yet - she goes somewhere between 2 - 4 1/2 hours between feedings (from the beginning of one feeding to the beginning of the next)

- Is a bit of a night owl and sometimes likes to party at around 10 pm but overall is sleeping pretty well during the night except to wake for feedings

- Occasionally will take a pacifier and has had a couple bottles of pumped milk

- Holds her head pretty steady when held upright (with the occasional head flop)

Below is a picture of Cate on her one month birthday. She sported her new bathing suit during our weekend away at Great Wolf Lodge (more pictures from that to come).
