6 Month Checkup and Visit from the Gaffneys

It's hard for me to believe that Will is already 6 months old. It seems like just the other day we were packing our bags and heading to the hospital. Today was his 6 month checkup. He weighs 18 pounds 9 ounces (70th percentile) and is 28 inches long (90th percentile). His head is now 17 1/4 inches (50th percentile). He has been looking more long and lean these days and the proof is in the numbers. Two months ago his weight was in the 80th percentile and his length was in the 85th percentile. Now, don't get me wrong, he still has plenty of adorable rolls to kiss on and try to clean during bath time! He also had to get another round of vaccines and they are getting a little harder each time it seems. Billy made it to this appointment again, and I made him promise to come when I'll really need him (i.e., when it starts taking serious time to calm Will down after getting pricked).

In other news, we were very lucky last Friday to get a quick visit from our good friends from law school, Abby and Brian, and their beautiful 2 month old baby girl, Molly. The Gaffney family was in town for Molly's great grandfather's, I believe, 90th birthday. We were headed to El Campo that night so we had to make it a quick visit, but we were overjoyed to finally meet Molly.
