Having three kiddos seems to make the days fly by even faster now, and blogging just seems to fall to the bottom of the list most days. I'm very excited for summer and a chance to slow down a bit and really enjoy time with the kids without some place to rush off to. Here's a bit of what we've been up to lately...
Fun with face paint
Dino exhibit at the Dallas Zoo
Music class fun
Birthday party fun with Elsa and Anna (afterward Cate informed me that they weren't the real Elsa and Anna, who live in Arendelle and like to visit Disney World)
May Crowning at school
Mother's Day Program (and western dress up day)
Bunkin' together at Granny and Paw Paw's house
Wedding photo booth
A sample of Will's artwork he did during the wedding reception--he will draw and color for hours. At this point in time Will wants to be an artist when he grows up (and according to him Cate will be the one to mail his art out so that he has more time to complete more artwork).
While I'm not caught up on blogging right now, I'll go ahead and jump to Cate's four year appointment yesterday. First of all, she handled her four vaccines like a champ! There were some tears shed and the last one was the hardest, but she bounced right back when it was over. She weighed in at 42 pounds 6 ounces (90th percentile) and measured 42 3/4 inches tall (96th percentile). She did rat us out on not wearing a helmet while she rides her bike...we'll be getting to the store soon on that one. Overall she checked out great! We will be going back in a few months to have her vision rechecked but for now no trip to the eye doctor is planned.
