All About Cate

While Cate's actual birthday is tomorrow, Saturday was her big day to shine! The day started with her first ballet recital. As all little ballerinas are, she was adorable. She seemed a tiny bit anxious when we got there, but she got out there and danced her little heart out. We had brought a bouquet of flowers for her, and I'm pretty sure that was her favorite part about the whole thing. She did not want to put them down or have anyone help her carry them. You could tell receiving them made her feel very special.

After a nap (very rare these days) she geared up for her fourth birthday party at "swimming lessons" (i.e., Emler Swim School). We sent the kiddos home tired and with full bellies so I think it was a success. Most importantly, Cate had a blast. As excited as Will was, you would have thought it was his party. I just love how close they are and how loving they are toward one another (at least most of the time).
