Turkey Day in OK

Back in November we did a 15 minute photo session as part of a fundraiser for the Mother's Club at our church. Cate was less than cooperative, so we didn't end up with anything too good. The photographer did manage to capture a pretty good shot of Will. Maybe next time on the family picture...

This year we spent the Thanksgiving break in Claremore. As usual, the kids spent as much time as they could outside. Will spent an inordinate amount of time on the fence picking berries off the neighbor's bushes.

Will likes to eat "bone chicken" (i.e., chicken drumsticks), so he requested a turkey leg and his wish was granted.

Cate found some old dolls to play with--this one, like every doll to Cate, was named Dolly.

Thanksgiving Day ended by helping Great Gramma Kitty (aka Kitty Momma) put up her Christmas tree.

The job was done and Will wanted nothing to do with pictures…

so he turned to artwork (he's really into coloring with markers lately)...

only to rally for one final pic!

Just two roomies hanging out and "napping"...
