Post-Remodel Pictures (2 of 3)

The outside of the house itself underwent a few changes. Maroon doors and shutters were painted black, and all of the wood trim was painted a different color as well. Gutters had to be cleaned out, and leaf guards were installed (not glamorous, but necessary).

The garage doors were also painted black, and we had a swinging gate installed. The gate will stay open most of the time to allow for easy parking in the garage, but it can be closed to create a gated area for the kids and Laney to play. In my opinion, one of my best ideas. ;-)

The back patio received new paint and new ceiling fans

The backyard itself is one of the more drastic changes we made to our new house. As you can see in the pictures, the entire backyard is now level (thanks to a retaining wall) and fenced in, with a gate and stairs leading down to the paved jogging path that runs along the creek. We are absolutely loving our new outdoor play space!
