Lake Life

The weekend before last we headed down to Frankston (between Palestine and Tyler) to spend a night at my Uncle David's lake house. Door to door was only 1 1/2 hours, so it was a pretty easy drive for us. We had so much fun! I especially enjoyed having 24 hours where we didn't really do anything but hang out as a family. When we're at home I feel the constant pull to be taking care of my "to do" list, but with no internet/cable, no chores, and no errands to run, my mind was 100% focused on my family the entire time, even allowing me to sit down during the kids' naptime and watch a movie (gasp!). We can't wait to go back!

Laney might have had the most fun of all--lake life definitely suits her well!
