7 Months

I know I sound like a broken record, but time is truly whizzing by. Cate turned 7 months old today. Here's a little bit about her at 7 months:

- Still wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes, but some are definitely getting snug

- 2 teeth (cut her two bottom middle teeth right after she turned 6 months old)

- Sits straight up and can get to a sitting position from her stomach

- Waves (started right after she turned 6 months old but seems to have moved on to learning other skills)

- Now takes her baths sitting up in the big tub (we tried a bath ring before she could sit up really well and she HATED it--she screamed through the entire bath both times we tried it)

- Crawling up a storm, especially in the direction of Will and whatever he is playing with or in the direction of Laney

- Has almost outgrown her infant carrier (and is really getting too heavy to be carried around in it anyways) and is about to move to a new big girl car seat

- Eats a variety of fruits and veggies, along with rice cereal (up next avocado, mangoes, and oatmeal)

- Not pulling up yet, but we went ahead and lowered her crib (makes me feel better)

- Big fan of chewing on paper (mostly Will's flashcards) and Will's puzzle pieces
