Viva Las Vegas!

Last Thursday Billy and I headed to Las Vegas for a two-night getaway. Since we had a couple free flights we decided to take a little Anniversary/Valentine's Day/Babymoon Getaway. The trip was a ton of fun--we saw Love (Cirque du Soleil show based on The Beatles), ate a ton, gambled a little (unsuccessfully), and mostly just relaxed and hung out. Thanks again Gramma and Grampa for watching Will while we were gone. Here are the few pictures that I took.

For any of you who have not seen the Bellagio fountains, here is a little video Billy took from our room (they have a channel on their t.v.s that plays the music you would hear if you were watching the fountains from the street)

Like father, like son. And no, we didn't teach him to drink out of it--he just pretends to drink out of anything that he thinks could be a cup.

While we were gone Will picked up the word "ball" (over the last couple weeks he has started saying "hi", "bye-bye", and "go", in addition to "mama", "daddy", and "uh-oh" which he has been saying for awhile). "Up" is his new word for today. Anywho, he started running fever on Sunday, so we ended up lounging around most of the day and watched some t.v. When Billy would change the channel from a basketball game to something else, Will would point to the t.v. and say "ball" until Billy turned it back to a basketball game. As you can imagine Will made his daddy pretty happy yesterday. Will still has a low-grade fever today, but is in much better spirits, so I think he's on the tail end of his little illness.
