9 Month Birthday!

Today is Will's 9 month birthday and with that came his 9 month checkup. Lucky for us and him, he didn't need any vaccines this time around. He weighs 21 pounds 7 ounces (65%) and is 29 1/2 inches long (83%). His head circumference is 18 inches (55%).

At 9 months, Will has calluses on his knees from crawling so much. He is still pulling up on everything and even occasionally tries to stand up without holding onto anything. Once standing he is letting go and maintaining his balance for 30-45 seconds or so, and sometimes up to a minute. Over the weekend he grabbed onto a toy with wheels and proceeded to walk behind it.

He is saying babababa and clapping his hands together once when he gets excited. He is eating all sorts of food, and over the next couple months we'll slowly begin replacing more of his baby food with small chunks of table food. Will holds his own sippy cup, but still has no interest in holding his bottle...guess I should have started encouraging that a lot earlier before he became stuck in his ways.

Will still has no teeth, although it looks like the bottom two might be finally breaking through in the next day or so. Will still loves his baths, and he and Laney have become quite the comedic pair.
