Cate finished up a great first season of soccer here in Austin. She really did land on a great little team and is learning so much each season. And her little sis picked up a few skills along the way too... ;-)
Thanksgiving break marked our first post-move trip to Oklahoma. Amidst all the fun we had, I somehow managed two pictures. This girl and her grandpas - she sure has a soft spot for them!

On our drive back we spent a night in Dallas to spend some time with friends...
and see Santa at NorthPark. That trip turned into a real adventure when Emma managed to pop her elbow out of joint (Nursemaid's elbow). One trip to the ER at Children's later, we were on the road back home.

A little gingerbread house action--as expected, Will's house was symmetrical and neat, Cate's had as many sprinkles and bling as possible, and Lucy's was a unique design using every possible type of decoration! ;-)
Hard to believe but we had our first snow in Austin. I wasn't sure how long it would last so we ran outside, wildly underdressed!

Amidst all the Christmas fun, Lucy turned three! She really does add quite the spark to our family. She has a very natural sense of humor and makes us laugh on a daily basis. Her newest pastime is changing her clothes all day long--from nightgowns with tap shoes and bathing suits with socks to princess dresses with mittens and leotards with stocking caps. While she loves a variety of "fun shoes", she prefers to go barefoot otherwise. She seems like she might be the tallest of our girls, measuring 40 1/2 inches tall (>95th percentile) and weighing 38 pounds 2 ounces (95th percentile). She loves her sweets but also has a few healthy favs such as baby carrots, yogurt smoothies, and overnight oats. She loves playing with the princess barbie dolls and the magnetic dress up dolls and loves to swing high. She still naps most days which has started leading to her having trouble falling asleep at night (which leads to many outfit changes...) She spends the tail-end of most nights (around 5:00 am on) in our bed cuddled up to me, but it doesn't bother me and I figure I better soak it up while I can!
