4th of July

Since Billy had a four day weekend for the 4th of July, we decided to head up to Oklahoma. The kids had a chance to check out Claremore's new Splash Pad (and Gramma and Aunt Sarah were great sports)!

One of Cate's favorite activities of the weekend was making a birthday cake for the USA. The kids completed our celebration with candles and the singing of "Happy Birthday."

What is the 4th without fireworks?!? Claremore has a great city festival with music, bounce houses, food, and of course a big fireworks show. Both kids loved it, although Cate did end up watching with her daddy from the quietness of the car. She is not a fan of the loud noise but loves to watch them if the noise is muffled or far away.
