Thanksgiving 2010

On Wednesday morning we headed down to El Campo to spend Thanksgiving (and my mom's birthday) with my family. The weekend was very relaxing, and it was so nice to make a trip down without having to reload the car for the drive back less than 48 hours later! Billy and I even managed to squeeze in dinner and a movie (Harry Potter--dorks, we know!) while we were there. (Thanks again mom and dad for babysitting!) Here are a few pictures from the weekend...

Will has a habit of running his fingers through his hair while he eats. Depending on what he is eating determines how crazy his hair looks afterward. Notice the Kix cereal in my little mad scientist's hair in the second picture.





Since Reid and Lane were staying with us at my parent's house on Thanksgiving night, I decided to kill two birds with one stone and the big boys took a joint bath. Will was a little unsure about sharing his tub at first, but after a couple minutes, he and Reid had lots of fun.











After Reid fell asleep in the living room, Laney wanted to sleep right next to him...



And would occasionally wake up and inch closer to him before falling asleep again--boy does she love to be close to people!



We even squeezed in a playdate with Dayton and Mallory. Will and Mallory got themselves into the same little chair together, but Jenna and I couldn't get to our cameras before they started climbing out--it was precious!



Will (and Laney) really enjoyed playing outside over the weekend, especially on Granny and Paw Paw's new swingset. Looks like we may need to eventually invest in our own...
