Emma Turns 6 Months

About one week ago Emmy Lou turned 6 months old. Just in the last couple weeks she has started rolling over consistently and just this week started really sitting up (though she still falls over/forward sometimes). This kid loves to blow raspberries and chews on everything, especially people's fingers. She currently weighs 17 pounds 4 ounces (55%) and measures 27 inches (70%). She loves her exersaucer, though Lucy is constantly taking all of her toys off of it. Sleep is a whole other subject. Emma has an aversion to sleep. She is doing a lot better than she was at 4 months, but we still have a long way to go in that department. Her hair is fairly light and she is still holding on to her baby blues. Only time will tell on those I guess. She has a crazy big smile and likes to flash it when she gets what she wants (like getting passed back to her mama). She recently started eating some solids and is really starting to get the hang of it. Overall she is a pretty happy baby, and other than sleep, she is really easy going, which is just what we need right now with a toddler who is not always so easy going! ;-)
