Before I dive into Spring Break, here are a few pictures from Will's last basketball game and his team party.

Zoo trip and Lucy's first ride on a carousel
With Will in "real school", this year was the first time where we treasured Spring Break a little more than normal. Since we don't plan on taking a family vacation this summer (outside of our annual long weekend at Schlitterbahn with my family), we decided to pack up and make a little trip down to San Antonio.
Traveling through Austin always requires a stop at Hula Hut
I have always wanted to check out Natural Bridge Caverns, which turned out to be a big success, particularly with Will. Billy battled the dark humid caves with the big kids while Lucy and I climbed every stair and ran up and down every ramp she could find. :-/ She hadn't napped that day despite a three hour drive from Dallas to the Austin area and was awfully grumpy so I was a little nervous to take her in the caves for a 75 minute tour where there is only one entrance and one exit at the end.
The weather was questionable all week, but thankfully we were able to move a few things around and enjoy most of what we had planned. We spent our first full day in San Antonio at Sea World. The kids had so much fun and, because we had bought some kind of fun cards with unlimited visits through 2016, we decided to go back the next day for the morning.
Billy got to ride the big rides and the small ones too! ;-)
Billy and the big kids were on this...Will and Cate agreed that once was enough for them!
Shamu Soak Zone (BEFORE)
Shame Soak Zone (AFTER) (Will was not too happy)!
Probably the kids favorite ride - the Shamu roller coaster
The Alamo didn't go over too well with the little people when compared to Sea World unfortunately...
I think this is supposed to be a mean face...
After the Alamo we headed over to the Riverwalk, but it started to rain so we didn't get to stay too long...
Our last day in San Antonio was rainy, but we had switched some things around and were slotted to spend the morning indoors at The DoSeum (S.A. Children's Museum), which worked out great. There was something for all ages. Our kids could have easily spent all day there...
Overall we had a great trip and made lots of wonderful memories! "Vacationing" with three little ones is more like a trip than a vacation for mom and dad, but it's so worth it for them to have these experiences and for us to see the huge smiles on their faces.
