Lately Cate has been letting me fix her hair--still wears it down 90% of the time, but I get to experiment every once in awhile when she wants Anna or Elsa braids.

No fall in Dallas is complete without a trip to the State Fair of Texas and my once-a-year corn dog.

This year our trip started with a ride right off the bat--first time for the kids on the DART train. We pass tracks on the way to and from school, and the kids are always asking when they will get to ride it. Trip out was awesome, but we just missed the train as we were trying to leave so after a 20 minute wait we headed home with one exhausted and cranky baby on a crowded train. Secretly hoping the kids are good with us just driving next year...

Lovin' the Pumpkin Village at the Arboretum this fall. We tried to go back on Sunday but Cate puked in the car right after we parked--joy. Thankfully it was a short-lived bug. Maybe next weekend.

And lastly, our house divided--this year it was girls versus boys and the first time we actually watched the game together as a family. It was the most fun I've had watching the game in many years (and not just because UT squeaked by with a win).
