Parades and More

A few weekends ago we happened to be in Oklahoma for Homecoming at Claremore High School, so the kids got to ride with Grampa in the Homecoming Parade and throw candy (in November Grampa will be sworn in as the newest Oklahoma State Representative).

Ready to go!

I wasn't sure how much they would or would not get into it. By the time they reached us, Will was throwing candy like a mad man (and even pelted a few junior high boys in the chest). Cate was doing lots of smiling and waving. She'd throw the occasional piece of candy and then get super excited when someone would go pick it up.

Not only does Will cheer for OU, Texas, and UD, but now he also cheers on Uncle Brian and the Indiana Hoosiers (ed. note: for those that don't know, Brian is a graduate assistant offensive line coach at Indiana--starting off his college coaching career)
