A couple random shots of Cate
So we don't go out to eat very often and when we do it's usually mexican food (chips and guac keep at least one of our children content for a VERY long time!) but recently we went to Outback. Will colored the entire time, stopping long enough to take a few bites of chicken, fish, bread and veggies. Cate on the other hand was a hot mess! It's crazy to me how these two have suddenly switched positions. Will used to be the harder one to handle during church, when out to eat, etc., but now he's doing fabulous, and Cate has become our little hellraiser! (Please excuse our sideways videotaping...)
Over the weekend Cate got her hair cut for the first time. She did great! I was sure that since it had gone so easily with Will that we were due for a child who refused to cooperate, but low and behold, with a lollipop in hand she handled the entire process like a champ, including blow drying and styling in a little pony tail.
This mop definitely needed a trim! ;-)
All done! Now that it's closer to one length we can start growing it out without it screaming mullet.
On Sunday we took the kids to check out the Frontiers of Flight Museum located near Love Field Airport. Due to my keeping a constant eye on a certain little girl who kept wandering under the ropes and into the exhibits, I didn't manage to take any pictures in the museum. It is a small museum, but it has quite a few retired jets, helicopters, missiles, hot air balloon baskets, early model airplanes, etc. Will had a lot of fun looking at all of the planes, and Cate had a blast running around. Most of our time was spent in the children's play area. The kids wore themselves out jumping in the airplane bounce house and climbing on the kid-size airplane. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in Dallas.
Viv needs a haircut terribly. Text me where you went maybe I can swing by there Friday. In those last few pics of Cate she looks so much like you. Just adorable
