Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Well, today our little girl with a big personality turned 3! Cate is quite the diva these days--she prefers to pick out her clothes each day, usually a dress or skirt (completely opposite of me as a child). She loves to accessorize and loves to wear anything that sparkles and shines. She loves her play shoes, but prefers no shoes otherwise and takes them off at every opportunity (in the backyard, in the car, during church, as soon as she enters my office, etc.) Oddly enough she still fights us most days on brushing her hair. She still prefers nothing in it but will occasionally pick out her own headband. Cate still naps every day, usually about an hour and a half, and the kid could live off of applesauce and yogurt (blueberry is her fav). She is ready to join Will at "big kid school" next year, but before that we've got to get her 100% potty trained. I thought with her being a second child, a girl, etc. that she would get it much quicker than Will did, but we're still having some struggles... Cate is quite the climber and has started to get the hang of riding her bike (with training wheels). She is quite the risk taker and loves to swing as high as I can push her. Cate's three year stats are coming tomorrow after her checkup. Cate adds a certain spice to our lives, and we are so blessed to have her to wake up to each morning, super crazy bed head and all!
